Not only are we neighbours, but we are also partners in raising awareness of the law and best safety practices.
Thanks to our partnership with the provincial branch and leaders in crime prevention, including the RCMP, the Alberta Government, CANASA, Crime Stoppers, the Alberta Conservation Association, and others, we have access to knowledge, tips, and resources which we pass on to you. We are here to help keep you, your family, and your property safe.

The Northern Sunrise Rural Crime Watch Association recently attended 2 schools in the Town of Peace River for a lock-it-or-lose-it campaign to bring awareness with the young drivers of how easy theft can happen and leaving valuables in plain sight. We attended with the RCMP and each vehicle we looked in through the window (never opening any doors or touching the vehicle) There was quite a difference between the two schools of valuables left inside the vehicle.
One school saw vehicles unlocked, wallets, credit cards, ammunition, bags and electronics, see PDF link under the photo. The other school faired much better with not much being able to be seen.
Each vehicle was given an awareness and all valuables removed package. Speaking to the youth they were grateful to be informed as they did not think it was a problem until we explained the thoughts behind vehicle theft.
