Northern Sunrise Rural Crime Watch Association

News & Updates

Its that time of year when lots of parcels are delivered to homes for the Christmas season. Sadly there are those out there that are also watching for those especially when no one is home. Consider letting a neighbour know you are expecting a delivery so they can either monitor the parcel or perhaps collect it on your behalf until you are home.
With the postal strike these deliveries are even more frequent.

If you are heading away for the holidays, let a trusted friend or neighbour know so they can monitor your home. Just driving around to make fresh tracks in the snow makes it appear someone is home. Please wait to share those lovely memories on social media until you are home, don't let the criminals know you are away.

Please continue to report all suspicious activities;  contact the RCMP  780-624-6611 detachment 24 hr line.
Remember to give as much information as possible. Try to describe what you are witnessing with as many details as you safely can
If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
